Festival
Today we celebrate the festival of Holy Cross Day. Traditionally, Holy Cross Day is celebrated on the 14th of September in commemoration of the discovery of the original cross of Jesus by Helena, mother of Roman Emperor Constantine, in AD 320. The festival was made official by Constantine in AD 335.
