Series A is the year of the Gospel according to St. Matthew. It is read in the church years 2025–2026 and 2028–2029.
In the Sunday and festival readings, Old Testament readings and Psalms are cited by Septuagint (Greek Old Testament) numbering, with the Hebrew (Masoretic, “MT”) numbering in parentheses where it differs. Many Old Testament readings are lengthened so that the complete passage is read. Readings marked provisional are those read in an earlier year and may be revised; “To be announced” marks occasions whose readings have not yet been set.
